The
Challenge

For this project we were tasked with clearing out a very overgrown garden for an elderly couple. We removed all unwanted shrubs / tree stumps along with the old and rusted bent metal posts and chicken wire fencing. We installed top quality contemporary treated timber fencing on rolled steel galvanized metal posts which are rated for hurricane winds.

Lots of shrubs and hedging have gotten out of hand and enveloped the old metal fence posts and chicken-wire fencing. The patio was unstable and could do with being reset and cleaned to make it less slippy!

Rustic Planters for Vegetables & Herbs

The client was delighted with our idea for 2 raised planters, as they love gardening and growing their herbs & vegetables. However, it was becoming quite the task working in the old planters at floor level, bent over all the time!

Storm Eowyn Strikes!

The client called us back in to continue the fencing right up to the house, as unprecedented wind speed hit Ireland in early 2025! The wind speed reached up to 180km/h, and it was strong enough to take down the brick wall alongside the house. Notice that the Duraposts and fence panels are all intact!
